Coach Sean Gassman
Coach Sean Gassman
Sean Gassman grew up playing sports and keeping busy. As life took over he continued to keep busy but he no longer continued to stay fit. Sean was like most Americans – overweight and over worked. He ran his own business and thought he was living the dream. Working long hours as a contractor lead to a not so healthy life. Eating mostly fast food, lack of sleep, and never exercising, Sean eventually found himself tipping the scales at over 320-340 pounds, stressed out, tired and depressed.
Then one day life threw Sean a curve ball and he found himself a single dad of three young girls, bankrupt, living in a house stripped to studs (due to black mold). Despite his turmoil, Sean was able to make the most important decision of his life – to keep moving forward. Weary, obese and dizzy with depression, he decided he needed to figure out how to put his life back together, but this time he wanted the life he never dared to live.
With his daughters by his side, he slowly found motivation and started his journey back to health. After learning by trial and error and taking one step at a time, he regained and even surpassed the health of his youth. He learned to live life to its fullest (by not just experiencing it as a by-stander).
With the desire to help others, Coach Sean began coaching several Team in Training teams and a local triathlon club. Coach Sean joined All Tri as the head coach and coached the largest group of athletes to come out of that organization. Coach Sean has personally completed and coached hundreds of athletes to complete races at distances from 5k to Ironman (140.6miles).Today, almost nine years later, Sean is a four time Iron Man competitor, a life coach and a fitness coach among other things.
Looking at life through different eyes has allowed him to find himself, appreciate life, and for the first time truly be happy. Living life to its fullest everyday is his main focus. Understanding the gift he was given and the importance of his family and friends has pushed him forward with the desire to help and build others. He now teaches others how to achieve the things they have never dared to dream for themselves. Turning from his years as a contractor building things, to building people and relationships.
His passion is to re-focus people so they can have the life they truly long to live. He knows how to encourage and challenge his clients, all while keeping them focused on their goals. With this new passion Coach Sean is ready to help you.
